Longtime Allianz Global Assistance customers will notice that we’ve renamed all of our travel insurance plans. Wondering, “What happened to the Classic Plan?” Don’t worry! The same plan still exists, with the same benefits. It just has a new name: OneTrip Prime.
In short, we realized it was tough for travelers to tell our plans apart. Each plan is designed to match specific travel needs and challenges, but the names didn’t help people figure out which plan they needed. The Essential Plan was actually more basic than the Basic Plan, for instance.
So we rebranded our plans to give customers a better understanding of what each covers and how they compare to each other. We’ve divided our travel insurance offerings into two groups: OneTrip single-trip plans and AllTrips annual travel insurance plans.
You can get the full details of each plan on the Find a Plan page, but here’s a quick walkthrough. Looking for your old favorite, or need some advice on which to buy? You can always contact us to talk to a knowledgeable travel insurance expert.

OneTrip Basic (formerly the Basic Plan)

Multi-trip protection (also called annual travel insurance) is the best-kept secret in travel. For one low price, you get a plan that protects you wherever you go in a 365-day span: international and U.S. trips, vacations and business trips. As a bonus, all plans include the Rental Car Damage Protector (available to residents of most states), which can save you a ton of money compared to the insurance pushed by rental car agencies.
AllTrips Basic (formerly the Annual Basic Plan)
